Urne.ch is a unique urn studio with an exhibition space in the middle of Zurich and has been offering individually designed urns since it was founded in 1998. Thomas Schär, who also appears under the pseudonym ‘cosmicball’, is the founder and owner of the urn manufacturer. He designs and creates each urn from scratch. This gives the handmade urns an identity, a name and their own story. Urne.ch employs a small team of employees with diverse talents and areas of responsibility.

Our urns are offered in a wide variety of materials, colors and shapes and are also sold to private individuals. Other artists have also immortalized themselves on some urns. In addition to the unique urns, urne.ch offers professional and personal advice in the studio and urn shop.
Thomas Schär not only creates and develops new urn concepts and urn designs, but also promotes promising young art with his platform youngart.ch and other projects.
The Atelier urne.ch is located in the heart of Zurich at Zentralstrasse 50. We are easily accessible by public transport. In addition to the public parking spaces, we also offer a private parking space upon registration.
