What began 25 years ago as a bold experiment is now a unique, welcoming urn studio on Zentralstrasse in the heart of Zurich's trendy new Wiedikon district. With passion, attention to detail and Swiss craftsmanship, we create the most exclusive and lovingly crafted urns. We are proud to be able to exhibit our contemporary urn collection in renowned art galleries, thereby contributing to the discourse on the topics of dying, death and remembrance.



Your enquiry will be dealt with personally and within one day. We deliver quickly and reliably by post or courier service throughout Switzerland directly to private individuals, authorities and funeral offices. On request and with good coordination, we can also deliver directly to the crematorium, cemetery office or funeral director of your choice. We are very familiar with the current regulations governing urn burials and funeral culture. If required, we will be happy to put you in touch with the funeral office, funeral director or crematorium. You can rely on our many years of experience when we assist you in arranging a very personal farewell with an individual urn burial. The artist and creator of this unique urn collection is Thomas Schär, ‘cosmicball’.

There is no obligation to have a cemetery in Switzerland. It is therefore possible to take an urn home with you. This is a lovely way to say goodbye to a deceased loved one at your own pace.

Thomas Schär, who also appears under the pseudonym ‘cosmicball’, is the founder and owner of the urn manufacturer. He designs and creates each urn from scratch. This gives the handmade urns an identity, a name and their own story.
