By a river, on the water, in a boat, and with flowers, a burial at sea with the closest family members can become a very special, loving farewell ritual. Our water urns were designed and developed specifically for water burials. The underlying concept is based on our 25 years of experience and is passed on to you with the urn.

Unique and individual at home

In Switzerland, there is no obligation to bury a deceased person in a cemetery. Therefore, it is possible to take an urn home. This is a wonderful way to say goodbye to a loved one at your own pace. An ornate urn can often find a harmonious place in the home for longer than expected. It can even find its way back into nature and is sometimes even kept as a keepsake.

Urn concepts

These special urns are individually designed and constructed containers that are often used for memorial or remembrance purposes. These urn designs meet a wide variety of requirements and can be made from various materials such as wood, ceramic, or metal.

Our mini urns are small, artistic keepsakes, specifically designed and crafted to hold a symbolic amount of ashes. They can also be used for ash sharing, or dividing a portion of the ashes. This allows the memory to be passed on to several members within the family in a special way.

Children's urns and memorial urns

To address this difficult and painful topic with dignity, we have also designed some lovely, small urns specifically for children. These can also be used as a keepsake for storing a small portion of the ashes or for dividing the ashes.

Building on our more than 25 years of experience, we have also designed urns based on the concept of tree burial. Depending on the situation, we place these near the tree, in the tree, or in the soil beneath the tree. We offer various special tree urn concepts. These allow the ashes of a deceased person to be interred in a natural environment.

Urns for a communal grave

For the use of an urn in a communal grave, we recommend using one of our soluble-fired clay urns. Often, one of our eco-friendly wooden urns made from soft, thin-walled, and perishable Swiss wood is also suitable. All components are extremely environmentally friendly. Thus, the cycle of nature is preserved even with a special, personalized urn.

Organic / ecological

These urns are made from exceptionally natural, ecological, and biodegradable materials. They are also ideal for indoor use. Placing them outdoors or in the ground encourages natural decomposition of the urn, allowing the ashes of the deceased to return to the natural cycle without harming the environment.

yobushi® means ‘told story’. These round and spherical urns are hand-turned in small batches in Switzerland. Designed by ‘cosmicball’. Each wooden urn is a unique, handcrafted piece, and the majority of our yobushi® are made from Swiss FSC wood from responsibly managed forests.

sfera bianca® is an urn made of valuable earthenware clay. Our collection includes illustrations created specifically for sfera bianca©, which are artistically hand-painted in Switzerland.
