jembele® is a ceramic urn that is polished with a special spoon technique in this version. Terracotta means "burnt earth" in Italian. This urn has a characteristically warm, earthy tone. For public waters, river, or lake (the urn can be released into the water), a biodegradable option should be chosen. Burial in a communal grave is also possible with this spherical urn. Very ecological, local, and biodegradable clay urn for a water burial. It is also fundamentally suitable for a ground burial.

The jembele® Terracotta polished urns are handcrafted unique pieces made in Switzerland with artistic craftsmanship. The jembele® urn can be placed as a memento of a loved one in the living area. jembele® also fits into a conventional urn niche (columbarium) and is suitable for a ground burial in an urn grave. When placed in the soil, it can be expected that cracks will gradually form in an unglazed, relatively thin-walled clay sphere. Over time, the clay urn will break down into smaller clay fragments. Thus, the urn will gradually adapt to the soil. The cycle of nature remains intact.

As a rule, this is the correct size, regardless of the size, age and weight of the deceased person. For children and young people, you will find a detailed table here.
