odaya® is a sculpturally designed water urn made of ceramic and is handcrafted in Switzerland. Shaped as a stone, painted gray, with fine white lines, this urn also resembles a river stone. This special water urn version is soluble in water and in nature. The ashes can be carefully handed over to the current of a river with this river urn. After the ceramic dissolves, the ashes are carried away by the current to find their way back to nature. The term odaya® comes from Japanese and means “peaceful” in a figurative sense. The water urn is unfired and therefore very fragile and is presented personally in a special transport box at the desired location or can also be picked up directly from Atelier Urne.ch. On request, we can also organize special transport with Fedex, also by express. Conceived and created by "cosmicball"

IS IT PERMISSIBLE TO PURCHASE A SPECIAL URN YOURSELF?
Yes, it is customary and permissible to purchase an urn for a deceased loved one at your own discretion. If you have chosen a biodegradable, ecological urn, it can be used for burial in a cemetery or in the open countryside. You can place a non-biodegradable urn in your home or outdoors and remember your loved one in a dignified and special way.

WHICH URN SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE? 
For an adult, you can stick to the size specification ‘Standard: 3.5 – 4.5 l’. These volume specifications apply exclusively to the designs and concepts of Urne.ch. As a rule, this is the correct size, regardless of the size, age and weight of the deceased person. For children and young people, you will find a detailed table here.

RELICS AND MEMORIAL URN
You can also keep a small amount of ashes in the small urns and memorial objects as a memento. If you want to scatter the ashes at a special place later, the urn can be kept as a memento.
 
CAN I PURCHASE MY URN WHILE I AM STILL ALIVE?
Yes, you can choose and purchase your own personal urn now. The urn is also a symbol and companion for life, in which you can keep something very personal
