The heart-shaped sekishin® urn is handcrafted from ceramic. A round lid element is artistically embedded in the base. A fine pedestal is included. “sekishin” comes from Japanese and means essentially “pure heart.” sekishin® “pure heart” can be placed as a memento of a loved one in the living area and also fits into a conventional urn niche (columbarium). The sekishin® heart urn can be permanently sealed or designed to be reopened. This urn is available directly from the Atelier Urne.ch or can be delivered to private individuals via express shipping. 

Very ecological, native, and natural clay urn. Can be placed indoors or in an urn niche (columbarium). It is also fundamentally suitable for a burial.

When placed in the ground, it can be assumed that cracks will gradually form in an unglazed, relatively thin-walled clay ball. Over time, the clay urn will break down into smaller clay fragments. Thus, the urn will gradually adapt to the soil. The cycle of nature remains intact.

IS IT PERMISSIBLE TO PURCHASE A SPECIAL URN YOURSELF?
Yes, it is customary and permissible to purchase an urn for a deceased loved one at your own discretion. If you have chosen a biodegradable, ecological urn, it can be used for burial in a cemetery or in the open countryside. You can place a non-biodegradable urn in your home or outdoors and remember your loved one in a dignified and special way.

For an adult, you can stick to the size specification ‘Standard: 3.5 – 4.5 l’. These volume specifications apply exclusively to the designs and concepts of Urne.ch. As a rule, this is the correct size, regardless of the size, age and weight of the deceased person. For children and young people, you will find a detailed table here.

RELICS AND MEMORIAL URN
You can also keep a small amount of ashes in the small urns and memorial objects as a memento. If you want to scatter the ashes at a special place later, the urn can be kept as a memento.
