WHICH URN SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
For an adult, you can generally follow the size specification “Standard, normal size: 3.5–4.5 l”. These volume specifications apply exclusively to the designs and concepts of Urne.ch. As a rule, this is the right size for an adult, regardless of the deceased person’s height, age or weight. You can find an exact table for children and adolescents here.

SWISS MADE
Our handmade urn collection is produced exclusively in Switzerland. With the exception of some stainless-steel objects and specific “small parts”, we use natural, ecological and resource-conserving materials. Swiss raw materials such as earthenware, ceramic materials and sustainably regrown wood from Swiss forests are also processed.

Since all urns are made 100% in Switzerland, transport routes are extremely short, limited to Switzerland and therefore optimally resource-efficient. We ship our parcels climate-neutrally with Swiss Post and the “pro clima” label, and for many years we have been committed to obtaining ecological and solar energy from the ewz Zurich energy utility.
SOCIAL COMMITMENT
In addition to working in the artist’s studio and in small craft businesses, Urne.ch also works with workshops for people with disabilities. URNE.CH has been a certified member of Swiss Label since 2003 and is therefore entitled to display the famous SWISS MADE label and promote it around the world.
This diverse and cross-sector commitment has also been recognised in numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.
