A small, special wooden urn and reliquary urn made of organic fir. yasura ® is a Japanese word creation and means “rest in peace”. yasura ® is turned in small batches by hand in Switzerland. Each wooden urn is a handmade unique piece.

The small urn can serve as a children's urn or be used to divide ashes or hold a little ashes after scattering ashes as a special memory of the loved one. The smallest version can also be used as a reliquary urn. This allows the survivors to keep a personal memento of the deceased - be it a piece of jewelry, a ring, a small picture, a strand of hair or another special object. It's a comforting thought to keep a small, personal memento in a special container and thus make it tangible. Especially in our mobile society, a tangible memory can create the opportunity to slowly let go and become a valuable alternative to visiting a gravesite. By integrating a small memorial urn into your personal environment, you can also create new, individual rituals.

IS IT PERMISSIBLE TO PURCHASE A SPECIAL URN YOURSELF?
Yes, it is customary and permissible to purchase an urn for a deceased loved one at your own discretion. If you have chosen a biodegradable, ecological urn, it can be used for burial in a cemetery or in the open countryside. You can place a non-biodegradable urn in your home or outdoors and remember your loved one in a dignified and special way.

WHICH URN SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE? 
For an adult, you can stick to the size specification ‘Standard: 3.5 – 4.5 l’. These volume specifications apply exclusively to the designs and concepts of Urne.ch. As a rule, this is the correct size, regardless of the size, age and weight of the deceased person. For children and young people, you will find a detailed table here.

RELICS AND MEMORIAL URN
You can also keep a small amount of ashes in the small urns and memorial objects as a memento. If you want to scatter the ashes at a special place later, the urn can be kept as a memento.
