This special wooden sphere made from local pearwood belongs to the urn family yobushi® and is made solid and thick-walled. This provides the necessary stability, ensuring a long-term and secure enclosure of the ashes. Notably, the angled layering of the wood stands out. This gives the self-contained sphere a dynamic tension that can convey a new appearance depending on the viewer's location. The term yobushi® is a Japanese word creation meaning "told story".

Each yobushi® is produced in small series by hand in Switzerland. As a keepsake, yobushi® symbolizes the entire lifespan of a person and can be placed as a memento of a loved one in the living area. It is also suitable for a burial and fits into a conventional urn niche. This urn can be permanently sealed or designed to be reopened.
